February 1, 2018
2018 was a hugely successful year for Dekko and we have even bigger plans for 2019.
So, what happened in 2018? It was our 10th year in business and we celebrated the major milestone in style – flying 60 of our customers over to Belgium for a guided tour of the global headquarters of Deceuninck and Reynaers, two of our key suppliers. The trip gave our customers valuable insight into the innovation that goes into all their uPVC and aluminium products and we had some truly fantastic feedback.
We made some major changes operationally too, investing in a graf cill welder and an additional quad welder to increase capacity for Infinity, our brand of seamlessly welded uPVC windows. Demand for this premium product is growing month on month and the decision to invest in additional machinery will enable us to meet customer needs throughout 2019.
Sales of RAUM, our high-end aluminium range, absolutely rocketed in 2018, and we’re in the process of taking on additional factory space to accommodate the ever-increasing demand.
We always pride ourselves on our ability to anticipate trends in the market, and in 2019 we will be introducing some yet more exciting new products. We can’t reveal what just yet, but make sure you visit our FIT Show stand (Q10) in May to see what’s on offer.
2019 is likely to throw up a few challenges, not least because of Brexit, but we are cautiously optimistic and ready to tackle whatever is thrown at us.
We would like to wish all our customers a wonderful 2019 and look forward to working with them and helping drive them forward.
