Dekko sees 40% sales increase

Leading trade fabricator Dekko Window Systems have experienced their best-ever 12-month period, recording a 40% increase in sales since September 2020.

According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), 48% of Brits spent an average of £2K on home improvements since lockdown, and Dekko’s high-quality ranges of uPVC and aluminium windows and doors have certainly provided installers across the UK with the means to meet this increased demand.

A booming home improvement market

Dekko Sales Director Kurt Greatrex comments: “With a booming home improvement market seeing more and more homeowners making changes to their properties in the wake of the pandemic, sales of both our uPVC and aluminium ranges have soared, with the past 12 months being without a doubt our most successful period yet.”

In order to keep up with booming demand, Dekko’s team have been working incredibly hard to keep subsequent increased prices and lead times to a minimum, while maintaining an extremely high level of service.

Earlier this year, the company opened a new 25,000 square foot factory dedicated to the production of Räum, their exclusive aluminium range.

That, combined with investment in key areas and strong partnerships with key suppliers, lead times of Räum, as well as the Residence Collection and Infinity, Dekko’s two leading uPVC ranges, have been kept as lean as possible.

Kurt continues: “Achieving record sales during what’s been an extremely challenging period for the industry is a real testament to the hard work and dedication of the Dekko team.

“At the beginning of the pandemic, no one could predict how the market would perform, but we remained confident in our high-quality products and services, and continued to deliver outstanding value to all our customers.

“We’re now employing a 200 strong workforce, including four new apprentices, and have also recently been named NFA and G-Award finalists.

“It’s been an incredibly successful year here at Dekko, in huge part thanks to our fantastic customer base, something which we are very thankful for, and something which we certainly plan to maintain well into 2022.”
